Women's Bible Study - Ecclesiastes
Women! We’d love for you to join us for an 8-Session Study on the Book of Ecclesiastes! “He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also put eternity in their hearts...” Ecclesiastes 3:11 Through this 8-session Bible study, Hannah Anderson invites us to consider the wisdom of Ecclesiastes afresh as we search for a solid foundation for life under the sun. Together, we’ll learn to name our anxieties, concerns, and disappointments.
We’ll discover how Ecclesiastes is more than self-help or good advice—how it frees us to ask the questions that Jesus Himself will eventually answer. And through its raw honesty and unflinching commitment to goodness, we’ll find hope in the One who guides all days under the sun. From June 12-July 31 we will meet each Wednesday morning from 6-8 am at Pam Behal’s house - 314 3rd Street in Radford. Coffee and light breakfast provided. You will need to purchase a a study book which you can find at Lifeway or Amazon- it’s called Life Under the Sun by Hannah Anderson.

Seder Meal
The VBC Youth group is excited to invite the VBC family to celebrate and learn about a Seder meal together on Monday 3/25 and Tuesday 3/26. The Seder meal is perhaps the oldest continuing religious ceremony in the world. It is the Passover Meal that is celebrated annually (Exodus 12) and was the last meal Jesus had with his disciples before his crucifixion.
The meal will start at 5:45pm and will last a couple of hours. Please be aware that the actual eating of the meal will not be until the second half of the evening. We are asking that everyone who participates in this meal brings a dish to share (more details to come on that but there will be a potluck) and contribute a donation towards the VBC youth group.
Please sign up on the Church Center App as there is limited space but we want as many of us to partake of this meal together as possible. Kids are welcome and encouraged to come. We look forward to celebrating and learning together.

Christmas Eve Service
We are excited to invite you to our special Christmas Eve service on December 24th at 5pm. It is our tradition to gather as a church family and to have all children join their parents in the service, as we believe it is a wonderful opportunity for families to worship together and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
Please note that there will be no childcare available during the service. It can get a little rowdy, but that's all part of being a family! The sermon will be shorter to help ensure children's comfort and enjoyment throughout the service.
After the service, we will continue the festivities with a delightful potluck dinner. We encourage everyone to bring a dish to share with our church family.
A - M - Bring a Side Dish
N - R - Bring a Beverage
S - Z - Bring a Dessert
To ensure we have enough food for everyone, please make sure you bring a dish to share - we don't want to run out of food!!! Let's come together and create a memorable Christmas celebration!
We are thrilled to announce that our very own Eric Johnson will be showcasing his culinary skills by smoking up some mouthwatering barbecue for the main dish. We are incredibly grateful for his generosity and talent.
We look forward to seeing you and your family at our Christmas Eve service. Let us come together as a community to rejoice in the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Wishing you a blessed and joyous Christmas season!

Child Dedication Class
This is a Child Dedication class if you are interested in participating in our (first ever) Child Dedication service!
Child dedication is a public commitment that parents make before God, church, and family. Parents are committing to love and follow God, to teach their child about the Lord, and to guide them toward salvation.
The dedication service provides the opportunity for parents to express their strong desire to lead and nurture their child’s spiritual development. In response, the church congregation expresses their desire to support the family, to pray for the child, and to seek their eventual coming to Christ in faith.
Youth State Of The Union
VBC is putting on a night of fun, fellowship, and family for the 2023-2024 year for youth ministry. As we cast vision for this upcoming year, we would love for any parents of our youth or current volunteers to hangout and dream of how we can impact our kids with the gospel.
If you have any interest in helping with our youth ministry, we have a need for two more girls to help serve on Wednesday nights
Light refreshments will be provided. Tuesday September 5th @6pm-7:30pm
